Florence, Italy is certainly a cafe culture... There are quite a few amazing places to sit, and enjoy a nice macchiato. One place that focused more on the coffee than the atmosphere, and certainly stood out because of it was Chiaroscuro.

They have quality coffee, and they also serve some interesting and well priced, post-work apertivos.
